A brief history
The Bucket Brigade (TBB) is an open club for T-Bucket enthusiasts of all ages.  The organization was founded in 2000 by Mr. Mike Burress, first President of The Bucket Brigade.

The Bucket Brigade seeks to promote the building and showing of these most creative of all street rods, but mostly we seek to drive them.   Scenic bucket runs are our claim to fame, and we invite all T-Bucket drivers & fans to participate.   It's the most fun you can have with your bucket.

Based in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, members come from several States and Canada, creating a terrific network of friends and fellow T-Bucket enthusiasts who share ideas, offer assistance, and Run together!

The Bucket Brigade is known for its fabulous Bucket Runs.  Can you imagine an entire rod run made up of T-Buckets?  It's an awesome sight!  Winding through forests, over hills, through towns and parks, along rivers and anywhere scenic drives can be found.  No lawn chairs needed, thank you!

Check out the various pages in this site.   You can find out about upcoming events, re-live prior bucket runs, confirm whether a particular event is still scheduled, learn about membership, leave the Board of Directors a message or simply browse through pictures of member's rides.

T- Buckets are credited with the very beginning of street rodding, when experimenters would remove all extra metal from the Ford Model T, improving the power-to-weight ratio significantly.   After WW II, this style was labeled "modified," and was raced on the dry lake beds of So. California and Utah.   Today's more modern T-Bucket styling has roots with Norm Grabrowski's creation for the TV show 77 Sunset Strip, which Ed "Kookie" Burns drove to the delight of nearly everyone.   Shortly after, Andy Brizio built a number of these Fad T's for other people, and the craze exploded.   These quintessential favorites among rodders and the viewing public are now the icon for all street rods, and set the standard for street rodding around the world.
